Plants Limited “Take-Away” opened in the winter of 1998. Due to high demand in the landscape industry for easy access and availability to quality shrubs and trees all year round, the “Take-Away” now covers 3 times its original area.

The “Take-Away” keeps a vast assortment of shrubs and trees from home-grown 3lt, 5lt & 10lt stock to more mature specimens imported from Europe and further afield.

All the plants are individually labelled with wholesale price & bar code. The price is encrypted so your client can’t see the cost of the plant. The bar code speeds up checkout, and helps us keep control of stock on the “Take-away”. Once the plants have been scanned they can be loaded straight onto a vehicle, invoiced and on their way to site immediately.

New for 2007 is the Top 100 Landscape 3lt Shrub Selection as recommended by the HTA. Four beds of 3lt shrubs are set out alphabetically with picture/name cards above the plants, making it easier for customers to select and quicker for us to re-stock old favourites.

We can select a collection of seasonal shrubs looking good to give an instant bloom to an empty garden plot. Working on a budget & theme to meet a specification for any size garden, using plants that are already in stock on the “Take-away”, means we can offer a speedy delivery service on show house collections.
